"I want to ride my bicycle,
I want to ride it where I like."
---Bicycle Race, Queen

Hi, I’m Meredith
You'll probably find my on my bike, out caravanning, kayaking or running off too somewhere. I've been living in Korea since 2007 and cracking the cycling code has been one of my greatest joys I've found living here. Talking to locals and studying maps have been essential to finding my adventures.
Korea is beautiful for it's four seasons,
mountains, rivers, temples, coffee shops, farms and for it's local people. Getting on a bike and adventuring out and around the city and nearby cities is one of my greatest joys of living here.
The hardest thing was to figure out where to go. I struggled to learn the language for many years to learn to be able to use local maps and local websites to learn about bike routes. I've now been in Korea for many years and have found talking to locals about biking one of the best topics to bring up especially among the older groups.
After running for many years off into the mountains, I became enamored with the gazelle like bikers I'd see breezing down the roads. I bought a bike quickly there after but after riding the bike roads, I quickly began wondering now where do I go?
Many people visiting Korea may be don't have the time to go through my learning curve and I want to share my love of cycling in Korea and encourage people to see the world this way.
No matter what your level, or if you have kids in tow, there is a lot to see even if you don't get too far out of the city or don't have that much time.
Korea is a safe place, I feel very fortunate to be able to ride on bike specific roads and see the scenery. But always remember to lock your bike!
